Introduction
Fort Worth, Texas has become the home of the first fully automated McDonald's. Wages across the board have been rising to such an extent that the median fast food counter worker is earning $10 an hour. There ends up being more jobs than there are bodies to fill them. And as the wages go up, for whatever reason, it becomes relatively cheaper to replace workers with machinery.
