Do You Have to File for an Extension?
There's always, in essence, two returns at your filing if you're a united states citizen. Most years april fifteenth is the tax filing dead line. So most of us think, come hell or high water, we have to file our return by April 15th. Now that is not entirely true. There is an automatic extension of six months,. But you do, while it is automatic, you do actually have to file a form.
