What Is Confidence?

confidence is the state of certainty about any particular ability that allows you to execute said ability, more or less unconsciously. And that unconscious aspect of confidence is extremely important. If you are in the process of analyzing every step you're taking, judging every move that you are making, you are always going to compromise yourself a little bit. You're deliberate, conscious, analytical, o here's what i'm doing, and i got to get this right. So real confidence, the kind that you'll want to have when the chips are down, is the absence of all that.
