Introduction

Peter Singer is an Australian moral philosopher. His book Animal Liberation was first published in 1979, and then reissued in 1995. It hadn't been updated since 1990; things have moved on slightly for the better but definitely for the worse he says. He talks to Alex O'Connor about what has happened during that time as well as some of the new topics raised by people around the world.
