I think the Kubernetes project is struggling for maintainers and fresh talent that will stick around. We have a lot of folks who maybe come and do one PR and hang out for a bit and then disappear. As maintainers, that's a real fast way for us to lead to burnout. I really like how Let's Encrypt this year printed out nice goose badges. That's a really cool way to showcase that.
