Are You a Guarantor?
Garanters are people who agree to take on the liabilities of a tenancy. This could be debt for rent arrears or for making up any damages that might occur in the property. If someone agrees to be a garanteur, what are they liable for? They're potentially taking on quite a big responsibility. So being a guarantor can be really, really useful for landlords and for tenants.
