The Myth of Positive Thinking

A lot of these myths are rooted in really well-intentioned advice, but it's just important for us to pay attention to is that what's actually happening. Being positive about them works against how our brain is designed to produce us three different outcomes and the first is it makes us feel worse usually. The second thing is we're not very good at dealing with adversity and challenging situations. And then the last thing is it kind of works against our brain in terms of building long-term resiliency and confidence because our brain has this ratio that it works with.
