Introduction

Mike Taylor was Deputy Commissioner for Foods and Veterinary Medicine at FDA from January of 2010 to June of 2016. Mr. Taylor is a member of the Board of Stopped Foodborne Illness, a consumer organization supporting and representing the victims of foodborne illness and their families. He spent nearly a decade in academia conducting food safety, food security, and public health policy research. Works recently at George Washington University School of Public Health.
