In the 1930s General Motors was asking itself how could they sell much more cars than you know one car for every two families which is about where the target was at that time. They wanted to present a future where everybody's driving everywhere for any transport purpose without delay without crashing and having a free parking space when they get to their destination. That was their utopia. The fact that the current generation looks so much like the past generations is what inspired me to write the book.
