The Importance of Metrics in Public Speaking
Using images, cartoons or other kinds of images can be genuinely useful in holding the audience's attention. I generally will do something maybe 20 or so, usually just an image. And then I'll go with the image and use that as kind of like some flavor, some sauce to go with what I'm saying. The notion of metrics goes well beyond the states, for example, China. They want to have basically a number on your forehead to judge you ongoing the duration of your life.
