The Importance of Faith

Everything we own belongs to him and we give it to him, anything less he says is robbing him. Giving reveals a heart of faith, which is why the response that God calls for is not merely a call for repentance, but repentance and faith. It makes me think of Elijah telling the starving widow of Zarephath in 1 Kings 17, first use your last flower to make a cake for me, and then God will provide an abundance.
