Can You Do QC D's?
If you're younger than 63 now and you want to avoid this problem, get your conversions done by the time you're 62. You can take $100,000 out per year and direct it directly to a charity and you don't get taxed on that. The only downside of the QC D is that not enough people qualify. It's only available for IRA owners, not for people in 401Ks.
