Diocletian and Maximilian's New Order of Things

Diocletian, three years into his retirement, finally agreed to the meeting. Galerius would stay augustus of the east, with maximinus dia as his caesar. Constantine would be demoted back down to caesar, despite his self proclaimed promotion to augustus. Lycinius would be vaulted directly into the role of augusts of the west. maxentus holding rome and alexander holding carthage would both be declared illegal usurpers. It had diocletians seal of approval. What could possibly go wrong? To say this was a pretty crappy reorganization of the tet y is a bit of an understatement.
