The Church Turing Deutsch Principle
The church Turing thesis is a synonym for Turing principal and Turing principles, the easier to say. Deutsch showed that if quantum mechanics is true, then it must be that the Turing principle is also true. Now there is wiggle room there, because guess what we know quantum mechanics is false. We know what the next theory is going to bring us may end up violating the Turing principle.
