Is Labour in a Better Position in the Polls?
Labour is still as culturally and politically disconnected from its traditional voter base. They are seeing levels of support in the polls currently that they've not seen since the mid to late 1990s ahead of Tony Blair's victory. I think overall they're in a better position politically, strategically than they were certainly in 2019. But Labour I still think are quite vulnerable and Starmers leadership ratings are still quite flat. Maybe soon after maybe Boris Johnson comes back for the campaign he will become more vulnerable? Perhaps the front bench is actually quite weak - but we'll have to wait and see.
