Your Convictions Are Not Enough

What you believe matters, but what you care about matters more. Your convictions have to be wed to some basic good values. I can go to any atheist convention and find 50 people who agree with me. Who i can't stand are the ones that aren't devoted to using their last ounce of energy to make things better for others.
