The Democratic Sublime

i am very interested in how this idea of the democratic sublime can be seen as a response to a very basic question engendered by democratic revolutions. How can a newly empowered people at once manifest its lective power and also remain forever ineffable, or beyond any single given ibstantiation or form? That is really a kind of cor a conceptual part of the theory of thedemocratic sublime that i try to elaborate across the different chapters of the book.
