The One Thing That Will Give You More Confidence
The one thing that I would urge people to do is observe more talk less. There is more that you will learn from consciously observing how people interact when faced with conflict than anything else. Give yourself the license to be more silent and that actually has a huge calming effect on a lot of my clients. The vast majority of people are walking into work every day, walking to that big-ticket negotiation as terrified or nervous as you feel. So observe more, talk less and you'll start to see all the information around you that will start to give you way more confidence to take on the challenge of wanting to become better.
