Theophilus: A Traveling Companion With Paul
Theophilus is just the combination of a couple words in Greek, God and love. So what if Theophilus just means that Luke is writing to all those that love God? In a lot of scholarship, they refer to the book of Acts as Luke part two. And another idea is that the author of Luke is a traveling companion with Paul who has a medical background.
