The False Dichotomy of Ritual and Philosophy

Ritual is just the method, but it's not. It doesn't tell you what the goal of that method is. The people who were said to have written these scriptures, the rishis, the seers, they're not prophets telling you what God said. They're seen as seers who see the nature of reality. So the idea of a dichotomy where religion is trying to get you to a magical salvation and reason is some extraneous activity, that's wrong.
