The Effects of Sleep Inertia on Cognitive Function

The sleep inertia phenomenon is basically just being drowsy when you first wake up. That's why they were measuring how quickly people would be able to sort of regain, I don't know, consciousness. The frontal parietal network is also considered a key component for perspective memory itself. So there were very specific reasons why they chose those two tasks.
