People Pleasing

As a society, we have an unhealthy obsession with being good. People pleasing is something that so many of us think is like a sign of what a good and kind hearted and loving person we are. But for some people please us, who were very, very invested in being good, they can actually cause problems for other people around them. We're doing what might be, for all intents and purposes, good things, but for the wrong reasons.
