Jung's Ulysses
In a letter to Joyce, Jung writes that Ulysses has given him "no end of trouble" In the early 70s it was disclosed that Dr. Perry had repeatedly been sexually involved with some of his female patients. He was placed on probation by the California State Medical Board but in spite of this sanction continued to have sexual relations with his clients. Eventually Dr. Perry was forced to surrender his medical license as well as his connection to the San Francisco Jung Institute.
