The Retrieval of Ethics

I think it was both. But there are a couple of moments that I can talk about. One is when this student said to me, what's going to happen if we can't get these arguments to work out? Are we going to have to be nihilists? And so I kind of thought about value or a doubt. By the time I read this, I had held my newborn children in my arms and I just thought he was exactly right about this. So I came to think that mystery is not so bad. The mysteriousness of value is not sobad. Do you still worry about dogmatism?
