Is There a Different Way to Prevent Natural Pendemics?

An even perfect pandemic prediction, the best case scenario, giving them absolutely everything on the table, still looks net negative. It's not looking like it's one of those non monotonic things where some amount of pandemic prediction is good and then it turns bad later on. So i guess a hole in the conversation so far has been whether there is other research that we could do, or heprecautions that we could take to prevent natural pendemics as researchers are pursuing with their potential pendemic enhancement research.
