The Importance of Richard's Castle
It's on a cliff 90 metres above the river Seine, which is the main thoroughfare between Rouen and Paris. Richard says it's going to be so state-of-the-art that he'd be able to defend it, even if the walls were made of butter. The castle will hold hundreds of troops, and it'll be connected to the river port of Onderlee below it. It usually takes 10 years to build a proper big boy castle - this one is going to be erected in less than two years.
