The Great Divorce

I think if CS Lewis is the great divorce, which he was writing kind of in the same era as sayers, where it's this vision of hell or purgatory or whatever as movement from the center. It's people kind of repelling each other because they're not willing to be brought to Christ. And I think of is one of the things you're struggling with, the way that everything is nested in everything. Because there's an inside and an outside, but then when you get to the outside, that outside is inside of something else.
