Daniel killed sam hur at the end of a play he was performing in. He then waited for julie to come home and kill her with his gun. When she arrived, dan told her there was nothing on the bed so she needed to look. Then he fired two shots into Jules' head - hitting her just below the tiara that was now tangled in her blood soaked hair. The murder would have police chasing after Sam Hur as their prime suspect.
