The Big Dipper

In the pre scientific age of mediaeval europe, where there really wasn't a scientific method, you're looking retuatily for something to be true. Back then, they had a completely different concept of what caused disease than what we do to day. So essentially, for a whole bunch of european history, until shockingly recently, thought that diseases were caused by bad air. And sometime there's still some words to day that have a roots in this kind of thinking that that sooks.
