Sandra Boynton started her own publishing outfit called Boynton Cook Publishers. The company was bought by Heinemann, which is owned mostly by Penguin Random House. Do you know that recycled paper greetings was bought by American greetings? I'm not surprised. Just in 2009, this is a fun, just a fun. What a year for consolidation. She hadn't yet honed her optimistic toes yet.
