The Witch Trial of Jane Wenham

In 1712, a farmer accused Jane Wenham of witchcraft after his cattle died. A potion was found in her room and she stumbled while reciting the Lord's Prayer. The judge set aside her conviction and suspended the death penalty; she would die a free woman. In 1793, another certainly the last witch trial would take place in independent Poland. They didn't get them all, so many witches in my wife's family, still alive, including her.
