The Problem With Pascal Scams
A Pascal scam is when people try to use the prospect of an unlikely yet potentially devastating event to scare us into a sense of urgency examples would would be like climate change. The problem with these kind of these Pascal traps as he calls them is it causes you to treat the unlikely as urgent when they're actually more pressing matters and things for which you have some control over.
