Archaeologists found hundreds of post holes of buildings and dwellings that it seems were made from saplings set into the ground. The town reached its heyday round about the year 15 hundred b c o, round the middle of the second millennium b c. And at that time, it appears it was the biggest town in the entire southeastern region of north america. It doesn't seem as if there was all that much specialization.
