i have the sense that creativity is like the sort of molten core of the planet, and it comes out in differenta i don't no if this analogy is quite working here. And if you realize that the three characters are, in fact, me doing that marvellous thing of being these three different people, then again, it's me exploring what's going on in my life as as much as you are. But i really do have to have, i don't necessarily know when i start the paintings what they're about, but i have to find something, a concept, an idea, something to hang it on. Because otherwise, for me, and i'm just speaking for myself
