The Role of Fatherhood in Leading the Family
Joseph is entrusted to be the head of the family by God. Joseph isn't holier than Mary or Christ, but he's given this task and so we can see in that the role of fatherhood in leading the family it's not about who's holier. It's their specific roles that are for specific people within the family.
