The CEO of Bios, a Mio-Hewidge, says that they're following the same trajectory as all of the early genome technologies. So this could be used to treat conditions like heart failure, arthritis, diabetes, and Crohn's disease which occur when the signals between the brain and the disease organs are failing. The nervous system in many ways is significantly more complicated than the genome or the immune system. There are trillions of neurons in our body and they're all firing at the same time. But if we can actually kind of crack that, then we could solve a lot of things for humans.
