Why Wouldn't Aliens Come to Earth?

The closest star to earth is almost four light years away. Without some sort of f t l travel, like a warp drive or a worm hole, it does seem sort of impossible that aliens would come here. Our signals havebet broadcastid very far. We haven't put out very powerful signal. So you'd have to be really near by our solar system to even detect us and know we are here.
