The Smart Solution Is to Make Partnerships, Isn't It?
The Smithsonian Institution signed an agreement with the Nigerian Commission of Museums and Monuments to return a number of items from their collection. There's been a lawsuit filed to try to block the return of all the artifacts by a group essentially making the argument that to return these would be to deprive communities in the US from experiencing them. Louisa: The smart solution is to make partnerships, isn't it, between the institutions and the communities? Absolutely.
