Are Barefoot Running Better Than Shod?

There are people for whom barefoot running is undoubtedly better. The problem is then I think the weakest link in that chain is now my sensation of my feet, I'm burning. So then I can't load my skeleton and my ligaments and my tendons and joints because my feet are limiting me. Whereas if you put Vibram or minimalist shoes on, you don't get that feedback. Now you can run six Ks on day one because you're a foot runner. Next thing you got all sorts of tendon, bone, stress, injuries and so on.
