Can You Talk About the Chinese Revolution?
Yanicha sits on the other side of the political spectrum. He was born in southern china, but he is educated in hawaii. The experience of hearing about the sino japanese war in 18 95 just makes him want to break completely. And so we have to get rid ofthe empire, and we have to have a revolution and and become a republican democracy. But then there were others who wanted a sort of more pure chinese state. That was a real live debate throughout the 19 hundred.
