Is it fair to say that those that are insubordinate are more likely to challenge common wisdom and force a matter of analysis we aren't used to doing? I think you can be on na continuum of quiet to loud. And how you engage in principaled rebellions, sometimes it's by somebody not speaking. If your child comes home and they're 18, and it's first time that they come home a little bit buzzed, and they didn't drive home, so somehow else they got home, am by you potentially doing nothing,. waiting for the next day to have a conversation. That might be the best move in terms of a principled rebellious act.
