The Inflation Reduction Act and the United States
The Inflation Reduction Act incentivized people to build businesses in the US that would deny those same businesses, build in Europe or in Canada or other places. This went against the principles of free trade that the United States had been a champion of at least until the Trump presidency. "I like it when other countries subsidize their businesses and then we import it because we get it at a cheaper cost," he says.
