Is This a New Thing for Missionaries?

Some missionaries are making the choice o stay, a men die. Christians were sometimes treated mercifully and given ef status of people of the book. But they werl forgot to live, so long as they didn't try to convert moslems. The blood of the martyrs has been the lifeof the church.
