CNN's John Sutter talks about the impact of climate change on his friends, family and colleagues. He says he has found that if you talk to people in a non-climate related way, they are more likely to take an active stance against global warming. The author is working with researchers at Yale University who created four short videos talking about climate change from republican perspective. They put them out on social media by paying someone to boost public opinion among republicans through their Facebook feed. Republican opinions went up twice as much when those messages were linked back to each other rather than just one another.
