Tress of the Emerald Sea

There are some great quotes about empathy, which is a really big theme in this book. To me, probably the book summarized in a single line is right there. Tress starts from the place of empathy and she is rewarded with that pain for itself at the end of the book. I think that that is really what Brandon was focusing in on with this tale and with this character. Overall, we have had a bunch of fun with Tress and there is a lot more to explore.
