Sam Collier was born into a family where his mother was addicted to crack cocaine. She had three kids and then she has me and my twin sister, age 21, on welfare. And so she gave us up for adoption because she's like, I don't have enough money to take care of the three I already have. "I wrote this book because I was set up to fail," he says in Find Your Voice.
