The Importance of a Run Function in a Package

I find that I always think of my application kind of in layers. If you have multiple binaries, sometimes you want to integrate your integration test them all together. And that would be nice to be able to import to another layer, kind of another package to test those. But it's a minor annoyance,. Yeah, but that is a bit annoying.
