The OCC's New Guidance on Cryptocurrency

The OCC released a public letter on July 22, 2020, effectively stating that national chartered banks were now allowed to custody crypto for clients. The next big move at the OCC was publishing fresh guidance on how banks and other federally regulated financial institutions could interact with fiat back stablecoins. Most of OGs know the single greatest impediment to widespread adoption has been and continues to be the lack of access to banking services.
