Eli Cohen's Remains Are Still Unrecovered

Eli Cohen is considered a national hero in Israel and many streets and facilities are named after him. His body was never returned to Israel and over the past 50 plus years many covert operations have been undertaken to locate and recover his remains. In 2018, Masaht operatives successfully recovered his wristwatch and eternimatic Sintanair 61 following a 14 year search. There are at least a couple of apparent liberties taken in the Netflix series with Eli's true story but I think everyone expects that from a dramatized TV program.
