How to Avoid Red Flags in a Relationship

Four people who used to be friends with him warned me not to get involved with him. He would always brag that he could always get her to do what he wanted if he just said the right thing. The last one all says that he didn't respect my boundaries. All of these red flags popped up within the talking stage slash first month of us dating.
